So, it proves that our soul is immortal because it is the integral part of God. The only thing is it changes its form by taking different births in the form of human, animal or plants. So, whatever is alive in the world is part of God since it possesses the 'Atma-Tatwa'. And the soul takes rebirth after the death of every former body. Hence, our bodies are mortal but the soul is always alive.
